From the Dick Lane Velodrome:
A huge thanks to Lucius Williams who filmed and produced the short film, 'The Keirin'. The premiere of the film will be held on Saturday June 12th at 8pm. The venue for the premiere will be the Push Push Theater in Decatur. The film will be around 20mins in length and will revisit the action from our first Pro Race Series event of the year, Ethic, Inc presents 'The Keirin'. It'll be a great chance to relive the action. It's free to come catch it, but we will be passing the hat around for donations to go to the velodrome and the theater.

GABRA would like to thank all promoters for taking the time to apply for this year's events. The board has approved the following venues for State Championships: Augusta RR June 19, 2010, Grant Park Criterium Aug 22, 2010.

The TT venue has not yet been selected. If you are a promoter and would like to make a last minute application for the prestigious State TT Championship, please contact Dan Coy (dan@dancoy.com).

Get your training plan in gear! There's not much time before the 2010 season begins! The Georgia Cup racing events for 2010 have been posted to the GABRA calendar. Click here to view the calendar. Consider this calendar tentative until the final 2009 board meeting in December. At this GABRA meeting, the state championship race venues will be selected. Check back for further updates.
