8G7 (a) says for masters national individual road races you have to be a Cat 1-3 for men 54 and under. In the past at the cross nationals they let anyone in but 8G11 says Cat 1-3 for those men 54 and under. 1D5 If you are nerding out on cyclocross cats a sport mountain bike racer is supposed to be a Cat 3 cross racer. I guess I need to get my license adjusted as I race sport (Cat2) on a mountain bike. That or try to race road in the 4s and cat up.

Those sections are from the 2010 USA Cycling rule book.

No aero equipment or TT bikes allowed in collegiate racing this year. Is that a good rule?
